Pet-Friendly Regulations

At LAFINCA GRAND CAFÉ, We Are Pet-Friendly! We know that your pet also loves to experience LAFINCA GRAND CAFÉ, so you can come together whenever you wish.

But we kindly ask you, for everyone’s benefit, to respect the following regulations

CURRENT REGULATIONS (Law 7/2023 of March 28 on the protection of animal rights and welfare), among its main points we must comply with the following:

• On public roads and in public spaces, including common areas of collective buildings, on public transport, and in public places and spaces in general, dogs must meet the following requirements:

1. Be provided with mandatory microchip identification
2. Carry the identification document or card
3. Be tied by means of a collar and leash that does not cause injury to the animal and be trained to respond to verbal commands from the person handling them.

• As stipulated by legislation, another rule to keep in mind is that if your pet is a dog classified as potentially dangerous (PPP), they must be, in addition to being leashed, muzzled and comply with everything indicated in RD 287/2022 of March 22 and Law 50/1999 of December 23 on the legal regime for the possession of potentially dangerous animals.

In addition to the legal regulations, and so that we can all enjoy LAFINCA GRAND CAFÉ safely and with all guarantees, we must respect the following rules of good coexistence.

RULES OF GOOD COEXISTENCE

1. Dogs must always be on a leash. It is not allowed to leave them tied in any area of the shopping center.
2. Be tolerant and polite, someone may have allergies or fear of dogs, it’s okay, let’s avoid uncomfortable situations for everyone.
3. Remember that pets are allowed to circulate in the common areas of the center. Access to each store or restaurant depends on their individual policies. Each establishment has its own animal access policy.
4. You must carry bags for collecting excrement, just as on the street, you must be responsible for cleaning up after them.
5. To ensure their safety, do not use ramps and escalators, always use the elevator.
6. In order to ensure everyone’s well-being, security personnel may at any time assess situations that affect other customers and make decisions accordingly.
7. It is forbidden to leave dogs locked inside vehicles parked in the different areas of the parking lot.
8. At LAFINCA GRAND CAFÉ, we ensure the welfare of animals visiting the shopping center, so if any type of mistreatment, abuse, or violence towards pets is evident, the competent authorities will be notified
9. They may use the restroom specifically designed for them.
10. Pet owners exempt the shopping center from any responsibility for any problems their pet may cause to the center, commercial establishments, or other visitors
11. All animals must maintain appropriate behavior, without disturbing other customers.
12. To ensure customer safety and avoid dangerous or uncomfortable situations for people or animals, the center reserves the right to refuse admission of pets to events held on its premises
13. Dog access may be limited due to crowding or for the safety of visitors and the animals themselves in certain areas.
